The Odyssey of These Days is an original, two-part collaboration of fine arts, live music, and dance by local creators, featuring paintings by Wesley Hurd, compositions by Eliot Grasso, live music by Dréos, and choreography by Tiese Morgan and Dance Veritas. Act 1 explores the human struggle to find hope amidst grief and loss, giving kinetic, visual, and aural texture to humanity’s inarticulable responses to suffering and the redemptive power of hope. Act 2 celebrates the heartwarming complexity of living in community, presenting a playful snapshot of family life that is sure to delight and inspire. Dress Rehearsal Benefit Show
In the spirit of giving back to the community, the Hosanna Performing Arts Foundation opens our final dress rehearsal as a benefit show.
Every year HPAF partners with a different local charity in Lane County. We open Friday night's final dress rehearsal by special invitation to members of this organization and we donate to this organization a portion of proceeds from our refreshment sales. In 2019 we partnered with Relief Nursery, whose organization focuses on the strength of each individual family. A wide array of support services are provided, always with a respect for the diversity of the families. For more information, or to suggest an organization for consideration as our partner for 2020, please contact the Foundation at hpafboard@gmail.com. |
