Welcome, 2023 Narnia cast!
Before clicking through to the cast list, please read these notes…
Take a moment
Before posting to social media or texting your friends about roles, please give everyone a chance to see the cast list for themselves. Be considerate and wait for friends to see the posted cast list before commenting on their roles to them.
Notes on roles
A certain level of casting still happens in pods, with groups of dancers who all have similar roles. In the past the casting team has always tried to give each dancer something new to do each year, but that is not always possible. If you have similar roles to last year, remember that the level of the dance will likely be a reflection of the growing skill levels of the dancers who are cast in those roles.
Scheduled vacations
Dancers who noted scheduled vacations on their audition form and are unavailable to rehearse on any weekend in September, October, or November were purposefully limited in their roles. It is incredibly difficult to create the rehearsal schedule when absences are requested.
Serving one another
With the announcement of each year's cast list, there are some dancers who are thrilled and some dancers who are disappointed. The directors and choreographers consider each dancer carefully during casting, and a lot of prayer and consideration goes into every detail. Each dancer is important to this show, and we greatly value the work dancers put into giving their best to serve the Narnia family in whatever roles they are cast.
We once again look forward to making the most of the adventure as we serve one another for His glory.
Thank you!
