OVERVIEW:
The Hosanna Youth Performers Internship program is designed for post-high school alumni through age 22. Internships are held for the duration of the applying season. Interns in good standing may reapply annually.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The opportunity to receive mentorship, gain hands-on work experience in the field of dance, build confidence in leading individual and group practices, and develop leadership skills. At the completion of a full season of internship service a letter of recommendation will be provided. There is not financial compensation for this position.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
The Hosanna Youth Performers Internship program is designed for post-high school alumni through age 22. Internships are held for the duration of the applying season. Interns in good standing may reapply annually.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend and participate in weekly rehearsals, learning all choreography as requested by the Director,
ready to perform as needed or requested. (2025/2026 Season Rehearsals are set for Mondays @ 4-5:15pm) - Under the leadership and supervision of the Director, worth with dance group levels to clean choreography.
- Facilitate and lead weekly rehearsals in the event the Director may need to be out of town or miss rehearsals.
- Attend the season performance events. This may be as an on-site point of contact for the Hosanna Youth Performers without the company of the Director.
- Coordinate the Compassion International support program, including the facilitation of reply letters, and communicating with dancers on the status of their donation pledges, and tracking donations received.
- Work alongside a Hosanna Performing Arts Foundation Board of Director to facilitate costume inventory.
- Work with Hosanna Dance Studio Office Manager to organize and facilitate recital backstage service of the Hosanna Youth Performers.
- Attend monthly meetings with the Director.
- Have completed technical dance training at a level IIIB or above in either Ballet, Jazz, or Modern.
- Have completed a minimum of 1-year as a student member of the Hosanna Youth Performers (2+ years preferred).
- Have completed their membership with the Hosanna Youth Performers in good standing.
- Plan to continue their technique training for their internship season at a level IIB or higher.
- While it is not required for the intern to be enrolled at Hosanna Dance Studio, class level verification will need to be submitted prior to the beginning of the season and will be verified periodically.

- If an internship position is open, an application form will be provided for online submission.
- Upon receipt of the application form, an interview with the Program Director and President of the Foundation Board of Directors may be scheduled.
- The $125 fee is due 30 days after formally accepting an offer of internship.
