Welcome, Narnia cast!
We know you are excited to see THE LIST, but please take a moment to read through some notes from the directors and casting team. Due to necessary changes in light of re-choreographing for social distancing with a smaller cast, we want to provide some important notes about the cast list.
Dancers are cast in pods.
This means that you will be in a group of dancers who all have similar roles as you.
Choreography will be changed.
If you are cast as a Pink Flower, for example, expect that this dance will be different from other years.
You might not have a new role.
Each year we try to give every dancer a role that is new to them. That simply wasn’t possible this year due to the pod casting; however, with many of the dances needing updated choreography, you will still have the opportunity to learn something new.
Some roles are cast for a smaller group.
We have made each pod a small enough size to accommodate for space on stage. Celebration Dancers, for example, will only be 12 dancers instead of the usual 24.
Some roles are not listed.
You might notice that there are no Redwoods or Minions. We intend to fill these roles with invited guest dancers at the discretion of the directors.
As always, please remember that much prayer and consideration goes into these details—even more so this season as we implement extra safety measures for the cast and crew. We appreciate your understanding and giving your best to serve the Narnia family in whatever roles you are cast. As you can see, some things will be different this year, and not all of those changes are ideal. But we look forward to making the most of the adventure and doing it all for His glory.
Thank you!
